About AEGIS
We built AEGIS for the firms whose regulators don’t accept "the AI said so" as an answer.
Compliance teams sit between a regulator that expects evidence and a business that expects speed. AI tools that produce confident, opaque answers make this worse. AEGIS is the agentic operating system that produces confident, explainable, replayable, and signed answers instead.
What we make
One platform that consolidates the GRC stack — board portal, financial-crime case work, regulatory reporting, evidence packs, AI governance — onto a single substrate. Every AI decision lands on a SHA-256 append-only audit chain. Every approval routes through configurable 4-eyes. Every artefact is content-addressed and reproducible. The regulator gets evidence; the business gets speed.
Substrate from day one
Hash-chained audit trail across every agent invocation and decision. Same chain head, same hash — every time, every tenant.
Explainable AI by default
Why-did-this-fire on every artefact. Confidence, counterfactual, retrieved memory. The regulator gets the reasoning, not just the answer.
Designed for regulated work
FCA, PRA, DFSA, MAS, SEC, ICO, EU AI Act, DORA, GDPR, SMCR, Consumer Duty, CASS, MiCA, VARA — covered by the same engine.
One front door
AEGIS OS query routes natural-language questions across every relevant module, returns one synthesised answer with citations preserved.
How we decide what to ship
If the regulator can’t reproduce it, we don’t ship it.
Substrate-anchored, content-addressed, replayable. Every claim is verifiable end-to-end.
The substrate is the moat.
Anyone can wrap a model. We invest in the audit chain, the eval harness, the 4-eyes primitive, and the agent-decision trail because those are what survive a regulator examination.
Plain English over jargon.
A compliance officer is the buyer, the operator, and the regulatory interface. The product reads like they think, not like a vendor sales deck.
Consolidation, not addition.
Every feature has to earn its place by displacing a line in the current GRC stack. New work that doesn’t consolidate something gets queued behind work that does.
The short version
AEGIS is built by Hu — a compliance and engineering team that has lived inside regulated firms and watched the same problems get re-solved with different tooling every five years. The bet is that AI changes the economics of compliance only if the audit chain underneath it makes the answers defensible. That’s what we build.
